Melissa was born and raised in Buckhead and graduated from The Westminster Schools and The University of Arizona. She has worked intermittently for Saks Fifth Avenue for over 20 years, during which time she was also an antique and porcelain dealer at The Interiors Market. Having bought, sold, rented, renovated, and designed multiple homes in Buckhead and the Georgia coast, her jump into real estate was natural, representing clients across Atlanta and neighboring Rayburn and Burton Lakes.
Her charity work is formidable: A founding Board Member of YMSL North Atlanta (Young Men’s Service League); Back the Blue; Collins Food Pantry; Gigi’s Playhouse; Piedmont Park clean up; Open Hand Atlanta (packing meals and delivering meals); Fernbank Museum Board Member and chairwoman of “A Timeless Affair,” their largest annual fundraising event; Atlanta Ballet board member; The Chrysalis Club founding member which benefits Visiting Nurse Hospice Atlanta, as well as Zoo Atlanta and the Swan House.
