Douglas Perry is a seasoned real estate professional, having practiced real estate in Washington DC, North Carolina, and Georgia. Douglas took a hiatus from real estate to raise children but re-entered the industry in 2005 with a renewed passion. Since her return, she has consistently excelled, showcasing unwavering loyalty and fierce protection of her clients. Douglas is known for her commitment to integrity, considered the cornerstone of her professional identity. Douglas’s real passion lies in helping others.
Growing up in a family entrenched in real estate in Winston-Salem, NC, Douglas inherited a profound understanding of the industry from a young age. After graduating from college, she embarked on her own real estate career, providing personalized service and unwavering support to her clients. In 2016, her daughter, Charlotte Perry, moved from New York, where she was in real estate, back home to Atlanta, where they formed The Perry Team. Together, they have years of experience and a deep understanding of the market and their clients’ needs. Having Charlotte work alongside her mom has put a bounce in Douglas’s step and, if possible, made real estate even more enjoyable.
Douglas is married to Craig, her husband of 35 years, and they live in the Buckhead area with their much-loved Brittney Spaniel. They have two grown children who live nearby in Buckhead as well. When not showing property, you can find Douglas hosting dinner parties, traveling, arranging flowers, gardening, petting every dog in sight, and, more recently, on the golf course!
